A storm in a peaceful place
is similar
to peace during a storm.
Both are easy to get into
and hard to get out of.

I always take a rowboat into the storm
where lighthouses are most beautiful,
saltwater weathered,
remaining stalwart.

Say what you will,
damage always holds attention
longer than pristine.
